Cell Group Leader Training

"No man puts new wine into old wineskins; otherwise the wineskins burst,
and the wine pours out, and the wineskins are ruined.
But they put new wine into fresh wineskins, and both are preserved."

 SHARING TOGETHER

Definition: Small group ministry happens when a small group of 4 to 8 people gather:

1. For the express purpose of the pastoral and spiritual care of each other,

2. Focusing on bible study or a general study of the Christian life.

3. There is personal sharing by each person about their own relationship with God.

4. Activities include some interpersonal accountability.

5. It includes time in prayer for one another on issues that have arisen in discussion.

6. It also includes time in prayer for the Christian community.

7. Group covenants/ norms are set to help keep the group focused and effective.

8. Small Group Leadership training or reading is helpful to ensure a quality experience and a safe environment for all involved.
