Mark 10:29-30
"I tell you the truth," Jesus
replied, "no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or
father or children or fields for me and the gospel will fail to receive
a hundred times as much in this present age (homes, brothers, sisters,
mothers, children and fields--and with them, persecutions) and in the
age to come, eternal life.
Matthew 15:4-6
For God said, 'Honor your father
and mother' and 'Anyone who curses his father or mother must be put to
death.' But you say that if a man says to his father or mother,
'Whatever help you might otherwise have received from me is a gift
devoted to God,' he is not to 'honor his father ' with it. Thus you
nullify the word of God for the sake of your tradition.
Ephesians 6:1-3
Children, obey your parents in the

to instruction, my son, and you will stray from the words of knowledge.
Proverbs 23:22-24
Listen to your father, who gave you
life, and do not despise your mother when she is old. Buy the truth
and do not sell it; get wisdom, discipline and understanding. The
father of a righteous man has great joy; he who has a wise son delights
in him.
Genesis 21:1-3
Now the LORD was gracious to Sarah
as he had said, and the LORD did for Sarah what he had promised. Sarah
became pregnant and bore a son to Abraham in his old age, at the very
time God had promised him. Abraham gave the name Isaac to the son Sarah
bore him.
Luke 1:5-6
In the time of Herod king of Judea
there was a priest named Zechariah, who belonged to the priestly
division of Abijah; his wife Elizabeth was also a descendant of

Lord's commandments and regulations blamelessly.
Luke 1:46-48
And Mary said: "My soul glorifies
the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for he has been
mindful of the humble state of his servant. From now on all generations
will call me blessed,
John 19:25-27
Near the cross of Jesus stood his
mother, his mother's sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary

loved standing nearby, he said to his mother, "Dear woman, here is your
son," and to the disciple, "Here is your mother." From that time on,
this disciple took her into his home.
